Archambault, 21, was originally signed by the Aces as a free agent and signed an AHL contract with Iowa on Oct. 9, 2014 after skating in training camp with the Minnesota Wild. The 5-foot-11, 172 pound forward has 12 games of additional AHL experience with the Hamilton Bulldogs and Iowa, collecting a goal and an assist.
The native of Le Gardeur, Quebec earned 231 points (100g-131a) in 270 career games with Quebec, Drummondville and Val d'Or of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League. Last season he earned 46 points (19g-27a) in 38 games with Quebec and posted a +19 rating. His career high 66 points (32g-34a) in 64 games ranked second on Drummondville for scoring in 2012-13.
