
MeiGray to Auction Jerseys and Pucks from All-Star Classic

ORLANDO, Fla. - The ECHL in association with The MeiGray Group announced that fans will have the opportunity to purchase jerseys and pucks from the 2015 CCM / ECHL All-Star Classic presented by Visit Orlando .
The 12th All-Star Game-Worn Jersey Auction will begin when the puck drops to start the game on Wednesday at 7 p.m. ET while the 10th All-Star Puck Auction will begin Friday, Jan. 23 at 6 p.m. ET.
The jerseys worn by the 21 players of the ECHL All-Star Team and the players on the Orlando Solar Bears during the first period of play on Jan. 21 will be auctioned live during the game at MeiGray.com .
In addition to the jerseys, game-used and goal-scoring pucks from the All-Star Game, as well as pucks from the Hardest Shot competition, will also be collected and auctioned at MeiGray.com .
Each player in the ECHL All-Star Game will wear a different jersey in each of the game's three periods. The jerseys worn in the second period will be available to the general sports collecting public at a later date through MeiGray, a Branchburg, N.J., company that also partners with USA Hockey and directs the NHL-MeiGray Game-Worn Jersey Authentication Program. MeiGray Group is also partners with the National Basketball Association.
On Wednesday, January, 21, the eighth ECHL Hall of Fame class will be inducted during a luncheon ceremony presented by BFL CANADA at the DoubleTree by Hilton Orlando Downtown, the official host hotel of the 2015 ECHL All-Star Classic.
Ten coaches from the ECHL All-Star Game have gone on to coach in the National Hockey League while 62 players from the contest have gone on to play in the NHL, including 46 since 2002 when the lineups began having players who coaches felt were prospects to move up to a higher level.
The ECHL All-Star Fan Fest, presented by Walgreen's, with player appearances, interactive games, prizes, giveaways, auctions, memorabilia, and a special Hockey Hall of Fame exhibit, will be held on Tuesday, January 20 . On Wednesday, January 21, the day's events include the ECHL Hall of Fame Luncheon and the 2015 CCM/ECHL All-Star Classic presented by Visit Orlando. Select ECHL Skills competitions will be held the same night and will be incorporated into the evening's events. Specific event details will be provided in the future.
