
AquaSox Swept in Tri-City Series

PASCO, Wash. - The Tri-City Dust Devils completed a three game sweep over the AquaSox with a 5-1 in on Monday night. With the win, the Dust Devils passed the AquaSox into first place in the North Division. The AquaSox now have lost five straight games.
In the fifth inning the AquaSox snapped a 34 innings scoreless streak when Charlie McConnell lifted a sacrifice fly to leftfield to score Nick Rodriguez.
Rodriguez batted 3-for-3 with a double, which was Everett's only extra-base hit in the series.
Henry Henry (2-1) got the win for Tri-City. He allowed the AquaSox run on three hits over five innings; he walked one and struck out seven. Owen Miller had three hits for Tri-City.
After a league wide off-day on Tuesday, Everett will open an eight-game homestand on Wednesday, July 11 beginning with a five-game series against the Salem-Keizer Volcanoes.
