Lynchburg RHP Mitch Brown (1-1, 5.40) at Carolina RHP Enderson Franco (1-1, 9.00)
The Mudcats continue their current home stand with game one of a three game series against the Carolina League Northern Division leading Lynchburg Hillcats. The Hillcats are 16-5 overall this season and currently 9-1 away from Calvin Falwell Field. They suffered their first road loss of the season last night 4-1 in Winston-Salem against the Dash. RHP Enderson Franco gets the start for Carolina and brings a 1-1 record and 9.00 ERA into tonight's opener against the Hillcats. Franco last pitched on April 22 in Myrtle Beach and pitched through the fifth for the first time this season while also earning his first win. RHP Mitch Brown starts tonight for the Hillcats and enters at 1-1 with a 5.40 ERA so far this season. Brown is currently tied for the league lead in walks allowed (15), but 4th in SO/9ip ratio (11.29).
Tonight's game begins at 7:00 p.m. at Five County Stadium in Zebulon, NC and will air on the Mudcats Radio Network with the pregame show beginning at 6:45 p.m.
