Carolina RHP Enderson Franco (0-1, 10.64) at Myrtle Beach RHP Erick Leal (2-0, 2.70)
RHP Enderson Franco looks to be the stopper tonight for Carolina as the Mudcats attempt to snap a six game losing streak in game two of a four game series against the Pelicans. Franco last pitched on April 17 against Myrtle Beach and held the Pelicans to just one run on six hits over four and 2/3 innings pitched. He left an out shy from finishing the fifth and with the Mudcats leading 3-1, but the Pelicans rallied back and won the game 4-2. The loss was Carolina's second during the current losing streak. The Mudcats are batting just .225 overall and .083 (5-for-60) with runners in scoring positing during the streak. They have been outscored 33-19 during the skid and have collectively pitched to a 4.76 ERA.
