Montreal Alouettes News Release
Montreal, October 23, 2023 - The annual Montreal Alouettes blood drive is back. On Wednesday, October 25, the organization invites the public to come together - and roll up their sleeve - with players, cheerleaders and Touché, the team's friendly mascot.
WHAT: Blood drive with the Montreal Alouettes
LOCATION: Montréal Olympic Stadium - The Rotunda
ADDRESS: 4545 Ave. Pierre-De Coubertin, Montreal
DATE: Wednesday, October, 25, 2023 between 1 and 8 p.m. ET
As this activity is meant to be festive, children will be able to accompany donors as long as monitoring is provided by a person aged 12 and over.
In order to avoid a long wait times, we have set up an appointment system. This makes the blood donation experience even easier.
Make an appointment online at jedonne.hema-quebec.qc.ca/ or call 1-800-343-7264 (BLOOD). If a major event will prevent you from showing up, please consider cancelling in order to allow another donor who is passing through to participate in achieving the goal.
Want to check if you can give?
Before attending a blood clinic, you can always check your eligibility with the Donor Client Service at 1-800-847-2525 or visit the Héma-Québec website at https://jedonne.hema-quebec.qc.ca/, Donors > Blood > Can I donate?
Blood is perishable and cannot be stored for long. Some 1,000 blood donations are needed every day to ensure an optimal level of supply and to serve the needs of Quebec hospitals. Héma-Québec therefore relies on the generosity of Quebecers at this event.
