
Andrew Canzanello recalled from ECHL San Diego

CINCINNATI, Ohio -- The Cincinnati Mighty Ducks recalled defenseman Andrew Canzanello from ECHL San Diego on Thursday.
Canzanello has four goals and 13 assists with 35 penalty minutes in 30 games with San Diego this season. The 23-year-old first-year pro has recorded nine of his points (two goals, seven assists) on the power play. He was selected this month to play for the National Conference at the 2005 Coors Light ECHL All-Star Game scheduled for January 26 at the Sovereign Center in Reading, Pa.
A native of Rochester, Minnesota, Canzanello had 15 goals and 59 assists in 153 games in four seasons (2000-2004) at Colorado College. The 5-foot-11, 190-pounder was signed by Cincinnati to an AHL contract September 28, 2004.
Canzanello will be available to make his AHL debut Friday when the Mighty Ducks face the Hamilton (Ontario) Bulldogs at 7:35 p.m. at Cincinnati Gardens.
