
Rochester sends Jeff Hutchins back to ECHL

(Rochester, NY)... Rochester Americans General Manager Jody Gage announced today that the team has sent center Jeff Hutchins back to the Mississippi Sea Wolves of the East Coast Hockey League.
Hutchins, 26, played in three games with Rochester and scored the game-winning goal on January 16th against Utah. He rejoined the Amerks on January 13th after playing 22 regular season games and one playoff game with Rochester during the 2003-04 season. He recorded one goal and four assists with the Amerks a year ago.
This season, the Toronto, Ontario, native has played in 32 games with Mississippi and notched 17 goals, 16 assists and 122 penalty minutes. Hutchins is in his third season with the Sea Wolves, where he signed after playing college hockey at Union College (ECAC). He compiled 63 points (23+40) and racked up 160 penalty minutes in 109 college games.
Hutchins has attended American Hockey League training camps in Manchester (2003) and Grand Rapids (2004).
