PORTLAND, ME â Portland Pirates Head Coach Tim Army announced today that right wing Jonas Johansson has been returned on loan from the South Carolina Stingrays (ECHL) to the Portland Pirates. Johansson will be in the lineup for the Pirates game Friday against the Providence Bruins at the Dunkin Donuts Center at 7:05 p.m.
Johansson had been sent on loan to South Carolina after playing in 32 games this season with the Pirates registering seven points (3 goals, 4 assists).
While with South Carolina, Johansson piled up four points (3 goals, 1 assist) in three games with the Stingrays.
