(Peterborough, ON) - The first full-time woman to be hired by Hockey Night In Canada and the first woman to host her own sports radio show in Canada, Andi Petrillo , is this week's special guest on Thursday Night Live (TNL) presented by Subway. TNL will air on March 11 at 8:00 pm on the Petes Facebook page .
Petrillo will discuss her lead role on TSN 1050's Leafs Lunch and will reflect on her past achievements including her work as a CBC anchor during the 2014 Sochi Olympic Games. She will also provide her perspective and advice for women who are interested in breaking into the sports industry. In addition, Petrillo will reveal the details to a never been told, 2013 Hockey Day In Canada story, that involves several former Petes assisting with the removal of her car from a snowbank.
During the first intermission, the Petes will share part two of local media's hot takes on the Petes' digital Who Wore It Best campaign. Members of the media will share which alumni they believe best represented each Petes' jersey number from five through seven.
In the second intermission, Peterborough native Tebey will be performing Good Jeans , a hit song that was released in 2019. The country music singer, songwriter, and producer has seven number-one singles as a songwriter, two of which were the top played Canadian Country songs of the year.
Each episode of TNL features an exclusive Q&A with special celebrity guests, a musical performance, cooking segments, and merchandise offers.
