Anaheim, CA (March 31, 2004) â The Anaheim Storm will celebrate the first ever Fan Appreciation Night during their final home game, Friday, April 2nd, at the Arrowhead Pond of Anaheim. The game will feature great prizes for lucky fans in addition to Killian's Irish Red Friday Specials.
Giveaways include 100 authentic Anaheim Storm branded Harrow shafts; gifts from the Anaheim Angels, ESPN Zone, Hooters and the Anaheim Marriott plus; concert tickets to Yes, and 18 replica Storm jerseys. At the concession stands, Storm fans will find $2 Killian's Irish Red Lagers and $2 hot dogs.
On the turf, the Storm (1-12) will battle the San Jose Stealth (8-5) at 7:30 PM. This will be the third regular season game between these two teams. In the first meeting, January 25th the Storm lost 8-7 in overtime. The most recent match-up was Saturday in San Jose, the Stealth won 16-13. The Stealth secure a play-off spot this weekend with wins against Anaheim and Calgary.
Following the game, all fans are invited onto the turf for an autograph session and then to JT Schmid's Restaurant for the final post-game party of the season.
