Anaheim, Calif., August 12, 2008 -The Anaheim Arsenal open their 2008-09 season in the NBA Development League on Saturday, Nov. 29 at 6:00 p.m. PST when they travel to play the Idaho Stampede at the Qwest Arena in Boise, Idaho.

The Anaheim Arsenal play their home opener on Wednesday, Dec. 3 at 7:00pm against the new NBA Development League expansion team, Reno Bighorns, at the Arena at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, CA.

The Anaheim Arsenal - Idaho Stampede contest is the first of 50 regular season games for the Arsenal, 24 of which will take place at the Arena at the Anaheim Convention Center. The Arsenal will also take part in the 2009 NBA D-League Showcase that will take place from Jan. 5-8 at McKay Events Center in Orem, Utah.

"The Arsenal is very excited by the 2008-09 schedule. We have some outstanding dates, and a lot more weekend games", said team president Cliff Dochterman. "We set up new start times of 6:00 pm on Saturdays, 3:00 pm on Sundays, and 7:00 pm on weekend nights to better serve our strong family business. Our fans will enjoy what looks like a super season with our new coach, Sam Vincent."

Also highlighting the 2008-09 NBA D-League Schedule is the All-Star Game and Dream Factory which is part of NBA Jam Session presented by adidas at NBA All-Star 2009 in Phoenix.

Fans can purchase season ticket packages for Arsenal games at the Arena at the Anaheim Convention now by calling the Arsenal office at (714) 635-2255 or logging onto Season tickets, Fan Flex Book, and Group Ticket plans are available. Fan experience packages are also available for groups.

The NBA D-League will continue to have three divisions for the 2008-09 season. The Central and Southwest divisions will feature five teams, while the West division will have six. The Arsenal will play in the West division.
