An Aggressive Start Key for Arizona United against S2

Phoenix Rising FC News Release
Week 2 - Just days following a season-opening loss to LA Galxay II last Saturday, Arizona United Soccer Club is back on the road again, this time traveling to Washington to square off against Seattle Sounders FC 2, tomorrow evening at 7:30 PM. And the focus will likely be on starting the match more aggressively than the last one.
"I told them after the game, if you start (the Seattle match) the way you did tonight, you won't win" said Arizona United head coach Frank Yallop following Saturday's match. "If you start like you started the second half, you have a great chance to win. Do that for 90 minutes."
United fell behind 2-0 to Los Dos after just 30 minutes of play in the season opener. The club played much better and more attacking soccer in the second half, but couldn't get any dangerous shots on target.
Said Yallop after the match: "All in all, I was pleased with the response to the two early goals. But I wasn't pleased with the result."
The last time Arizona traveled to Starfire Stadium, a sluggish start also doomed them. The club was behind 2-0 after 14 minutes and 3-0 at the half before going on to lose 4-0. But, Yallop said he believed the short turnaround, even if it's another road trip, will be beneficial for the team and will prevent the players from dwelling too much on Saturday's loss.
"It's going to be a test of character and hopefully we'll be up to the task," Yallop said.
Scouting Report: S2 is also coming off a disappointing season-opening loss on Saturday. The club fell in its home opener to Sacramento Republic FC, 1-0. The lone goal came off a PK that players and coaches believed was "soft" but, ultimately, S2's head coach Ezra Hendrickson said he didn't think the team did enough to earn three points. In eight shots during the match, S2 only had one on target.
Previous meetings: The clubs split their season series last year. Arizona United won at home, 2-1, on June 20. Then on July 12, S2 won, 4-0.
