Rochester (12-49-2-3, 30 points) enters the week at the bottom of the American Hockey League's Western Conference and a last place standing in the North Division. Rochester owns the worst winning percentage in the league after dropping eight straight and 24 of its last 26 games.

The Amerks' troubles continued this past weekend, collecting only one point out of a possible six, while posting a 0-2-0-1 record.

The Amerks first fell victim to the Quad City Flames in a 4-1 decision in the second ever meeting between the two teams Wednesday night at The Blue Cross Arena. Fourth-year left wing Stefan Meyer scored Rochester's lone goal in the loss.

Meyer would find the back of the net two more times in a 4-3 shootout loss to the Lake Erie Monsters Friday night en route to first star honors. The game was the first leg of a home-and-home series with the teams. Amerks captain Drew Larman rounded out the scoring to notch his fifth goal of the season.

Lake Erie completed the sweep the following night in Cleveland with a 7-2 rout over the Amerks at Quicken Loans Arena. Lake Erie's Chris Stewart, younger brother of Rochester's Anthony Stewart, powered the Monsters offense with a three-point performance (2+1). David Brine and Dylan Hunter provided Rochester's pair of goals.

Rochester Americans General Manager Jody Gage announced today that the Florida Panthers have recalled left wing Tanner Glass and right wing Anthony Stewart.

Glass, 24, receives his fourth NHL recall this season after being reassigned to Rochester on January 25th. A native of Regina, Saskatchewan, Glass has registered one goal and 27 penalty minutes (PIM) in 23 appearances with the Panthers this season. In 25 AHL contests, the 6-foot, 196-pound forward has four points (2+2) in 25 games. Glass was Florida's ninth-round selection (265th overall) in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft.

Stewart returns to the NHL ranks for the seventh time this season. The 23-year-old forward has notched one assist in 24 games with Florida and 19 points (8+11) in 24 games for the red, white and blue.
