Americans to Host Education Day Game in December

Allen, Texas - The Allen Americans announced today the team will host their first-ever Educational Day Game this season on Tuesday, December 4th when the club hosts the Rapid City Rush.
The team will welcome schools from all over North Texas and Collin County for an early matinee affair. The Educational Game theme will be felt throughout the arena with many activities planned for both before and during the game for the students in attendance.
"We're very excited to launch our first Educational Game, said Americans Vice President of Ticket Operations Robert Fatta. "To have so many young fans in the building at one time will make the atmosphere very exciting. We hope to make this an annual event."
Game time will be at 10:35 am with students arriving at 9:30 am when the doors open. Any school interested in being a part of the field trip should contact Amber Barros at 972-912-1000.
