Americans Preseason Ends in 5-1 Loss to Chiefs

The Americans preseason record ends at 6-2-4 and the Spokane Chiefs ends at 5-3-1.

The game tonight was off to a slow start. The first period was scoreless from both ends.

Jack Finley was the first Chief of the night to find the back of the net in the second period at 2:04. Luke Toporowski and Egor Arbuzov assisted Finley.

Ethan McIndoe scored twice once in the second period at 12:28 and the other in the third at 17:06. In the second period Nolan Reid and Bobby Russell assisted McIndoe. In the third Luke Toporowski and Bobby Russell assisted him.

The Americans only goal of the night came in third period at 12:02 from Bryan McAndrews, who was assisted by Sasha Mutala and Anthony Bishop.

The American were outshot a total of 40-31.
