Calgary, AB - The Kootenay ICE finished off its 2018 pre-season schedule with a 3-2 loss to the Calgary Hitmen at Scotiabank Saddledome on Saturday night.
Sebastian Streu and Valtteri Kakkonen scored their first goals of the pre-season, while Loeden Schaufler, Keenan Taphorn, Connor McClennon and Jonathan Smart registered one assist each. Goaltender Jesse Makaj stopped 22 shots in the loss.
With his assist Saturday night, McClennon finishes the pre-season as the team's leading point producer with seven points in six games.
