Americans Host Ugly Sweater Day this Sunday

Allen, Texas - The ECHL Kelly Cup Champion Allen Americans are bringing back the ugly sweater this Sunday when they host the Idaho Steelheads at 4:05 pm.
With the holiday season upon us, the Allen Americans will pull the ugly sweater out of the closet this Sunday when the club plays its next to the last home game before Christmas. This will be the fourth time in seven seasons the team has worn the holiday-themed jersey, which will be up for auction right after the game.
"For those of us who are fans of the Ugly Christmas Sweater, I look forward to seeing what is in store for us on Sunday," said Americans defenseman Aaron Gens. "We've all watched Christmas Vacation and laughed at Uncle Eddy's ugly sweater, and now we get the chance to wear one to work as well."
