Americans Have Big Lineup of Activities Planned for 2nd Half

Allen, Texas - The Allen Americans kicked off the second half of the season last weekend with back to back wins, and now have a five game winning streak. The Central Hockey League team has several big events planned for the final three months of the regular season, including a major concert act.

Former American Idol star, Jason Castro will headline Faith and Family Night, coming up on Sunday, February 23rd. Castro is the biggest name to date booked by the CHL club in their five year history, and is expected to bring in a huge crowd with hopefully some potential new fans into the Allen Event Center.

Police and Fire Game is back for another season on Saturday, February 1st, as the Allen Police Force faces off against the Allen Fire Department, with the Fire holding the upper hand in the short history between the two teams.

Also highlighted in the second half of the season is Allen Eagles Night honoring the back to back 5A State Football Champs on Friday, January 10th, as well as Kids Day on Monday, January 20th, brought to you by the Dallas Zoo, who will be in the house with several animals to entertain the kids. Other big dates include: The annual McDonald's Game on Saturday, March 1st, Military Appreciation Night on March 22nd, Mascot Night on March 26th, as well as Fan Appreciation Week with games on March 28th and 29th.
