Americans Announce Biscuit's Bully Busters

Allen, Texas -The Allen Americans, ECHL affiliate of the Minnesota Wild, introduced Biscuit's Bully Busters today; a program to help create awareness of bullying in our schools.
Over 3.2 million students are victims of bullying in schools each year. The Allen Americans and your school are teaming up to change that.
Biscuit and a selected speaker will give anti-bulling tips to all the children through physical comedy, as well as talking about real life situations. They'll also cover the different types of bullying and what each means (Physical, Mental, Self-Bullying, and Online Bullying.) Through this 40-minute assembly, the children will learn how not to be a bully and how to avoid being bullied when they are faced with a problem or situation.
"I know firsthand the impact and long-lasting effects bullying has on a person and I am so excited for the Allen Americans to launch Biscuit's Bully Busters program." said Randi Sundquist, former Allen Americans Ice Angel and Miss Nevada 2012. "My passion to spark change and create awareness surrounding bullying has become part of my life mission. Additional opportunities for me to continue to speak to those who are going through what I did continue to surface. It is both empowering and emotional to be a part of organizations like the Allen Americans who are investing their time, resources, and energy to create life change in others. I am hopeful that the impact of this program will be long lasting to those in which it touches."
Types of Bullying Addressed:
Physical - Bullying that hurts
Social - Bullying with words
Self-Bullying - Harmful self criticism
Online Bullying - Bullying through social media
