
Americans 9th annual Skills Competition Saturday

Kennewick, WA â The 9th annual Tri-City Americans/MDA Skills Competition is this Saturday, January 24th at 3 p.m. in the Tri-Cities Coliseum. All proceeds will be donated directly to the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
Admission is a suggested $5 donation for adults, $3 for kids. A silent jersey auction will be held at the event for all the jerseys used by the players in the event. Immediately following the competition, fans can enjoy a delicious dinner in the Founders Club, graciously provided by Outback Steakhouse. Price for the dinner is $15 for adults, children 2-12 will be admitted for just $7. Tickets can be purchased in advance at the Americans office on the lower level of the Coliseum from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Charge by phone, call Audrey Tory at 509.736.0606 ext. 253.
To add to the fun of the event, members of the Tri-Cities Hurricanes Mite rep team will join the Americans on ice in the competition.
"We are proud of our association with of MDA and encourage our fans join us in support of this worthy cause," said Americans general manager Bob Tory. Last year over $6,100 was raised in support of MDA at the event.
The U.S. Division leading Americans face the Eastern Division leading Prince Albert Raiders this Sunday, January 25th at 5:05 pm in the Tri-Cities Coliseum.
