Laredo 4, Kansas City 2
Laredo Lemur SS Garrett Rau took care of business Sunday night as his squad downed the Kansas City T-Bones 4-2. It was a tie ball game when Rau came to the plate in the bottom of the fourth inning and with two outs he turned on a full count delivery and belted a triple that scored C Brian Peterson and RF Marcos Rodriguez. Those proved to be the game winning runs and Rau made sure of that when he moved from short stop to the mound in the ninth inning. He gave up a hit but struck out three T-Bones to earn the save. Laredo CF Sawyer Carroll also the other two RBI for the Lemurs as he went 2-for-4.
