Gary SouthShore 10, Kansas City 6
The Gary SouthShore RailCats jumped out to an early lead and held on to topple the Kansas City T-Bones 10-6. RF Mike Massaro tripled in three runs in the bottom of the second inning to give the RailCats a 4-0 lead. Massaro finished the game with a team-high four RBI on two hits. The RailCats scored in each of the next four innings to take a commanding 10-2 lead. CF Drew Martinez had a team-high three hits and scored two runs and 3B Brian Kolb also had an efficient night at the plate going 2-for-2 and scoring twice. The T-Bones mounted a late rally with a four-run eighth inning but drew no closer. Both LF Justin Bass and C Steve Yoo posted three hits for the T-Bones.
