Fort Worth got contributions from throughout their lineup in a 9-4 win over Grand Prairie. 1B John Allen and 2B Isa Garcia homered and combined to drive in six runs. DH Pat O'Sullivan had two hits and two RBI. And leadoff man Brian Fryer went 3-for-4 with two runs scored. Cats starter Nat Harris allowed just six hits and one earned run to the Airhogs and improved to 4-4 with the win. Grand Prairie 3B Cesar Nicolas had another good game with a homer, two batted in, and two runs scored in a 2-for-4 night at the plate. The game was called with two out in the top of the ninth inning due to rain.

Lincoln 7, Sioux City 6

Lincoln grabbed an early lead on Sioux City then withstood a ninth inning rally for a 7-6 win. The Saltdogs used two doubles and a homerun, the first of the year by SS Albenis Machado, to put up five runs in the bottom of the third inning. They led 6-0 before the Explorers answered with three runs in the fifth inning. Down 7-3 Sioux City used a walk, an error, and two hits to score three times in the ninth, but left the tying run at second. Explorers 2B Alex Llanos drove in four in a losing effort.

St. Paul 8, Sioux Falls 3

St. Paul used a six-run fifth inning to down Sioux Falls by an 8-3 final. Saints RF Brent Krause homered and scored twice in a 2-for-4 night at the plate while 1B Jason Cooper led all batters with three hits in the contest. St. Paul starter Reed Dickert worked six innings, allowing three runs on eight hits. He struck out seven and improved to 3-4 with the win. Noel Baca went 4 2/3 innings for the Canaries and allowed four earned runs on 10 hits to drop to 2-3. Each team left 10 men on base in the game.

Pensacola 5, Wichita 4

Pensacola got a timely homerun from 2B Antoin Gray and escaped a ninth inning rally to capture a 5-4 win at Wichita. It was the Pelicans eighth straight victory. Gray's dinger gave Pensacola a 5-3 lead in the top of the seventh inning, but the Wingnuts got to Pelicans closer Hunter Davis with a leadoff homer in the ninth by CF Nick Blasi. With Pensacola's lead cut to one, a single and an error put men at second and third with none out. A lineout and an intentional walk saw the bases loaded with one down, but Wichita hit into a force out at home and a groundout to end the game. Wingnuts DH Greg Porter went 4-for-5, homered, and drove in three in the loss.

Shreveport-Bossier 11, El Paso 3

Shreveport-Bossier played pinball in El Paso's Cohen Stadium on Monday night, tying a league record with nine doubles en route to an 11-3 victory over the Diablos. Captains CF Jonathan Reynoso doubled four times to tie the league's individual record and drove in three runs. DH Chris Garcia also drove in three runs and had a two-bagger as part of a 3-for-5 night. Shreveport-Bossier starter Jimmy Heard turned in a solid performance tossing seven innings and striking out seven. He allowed three earned runs on six hits and moved his record to 6-0 with the win.
