Bottom-of-the-order production and a four-run sixth inning did the trick for Coastal Bend in its 6-3 win against Fort Worth. Coastal Bend's 6-7-8-9 hitters drove in all six of the team's runs, partly thanks to a two-run homer by DH Matt Spencer. The Aviators trailed 3-2 heading into the sixth, but found themselves in control after emerging from the inning with a 6-3 lead. Three solid and scoreless innings from the Coastal Bend bullpen allowed them to hang on and give starter Kevin Hull his sixth win.
