Laredo 4, Grand Prairie 3
Laredo LF Luke Bailey hit a two-run single in the bottom of the ninth inning to lift the Lemurs to a 4-3 walkoff win over the Grand Prairie AirHogs. Bailey went 2-for-4 on the night with two RBI. Laredo 2B Jeudy Valdez had two hits, including a double and two runs scored while DH Abel Nieves chipped in with two hits and a walk. Laredo reliever Luis De La Cruz picked up his first win of the season as he allowed a walk in a scoreless inning of work. For Grand Prairie in the loss, 1B Victor Diaz went 3-for-5.
Amarillo 6, Sioux City 3
Amarillo scored a run in the eighth inning to break a 3-3 tie and then two more insurance runs in the ninth and would go on to win 6-3 over the Sioux City Explorers. Thunderheads DH Stefan Gartrell had a terrific game at the plate going 4-for-5 with a home run, two runs scored and two RBI. The duo of RF Logan Vick and CF Jason Martin went a combined 5-for-8 at the plate with two doubles, three runs scored and a RBI. Amarillo starting pitcher Matt Larkins went the distance in collecting his fifth victory of the year. Larkins gave up three runs, two earned, on 11 hits and struck out one.
Kansas City at Trois-Rivieres (Cancelled - Rain)
The game between Kansas City and Trois-Rivieres was cancelled due to rain. Since the two teams do not play again this season, the game will not be made up.
