St. Paul 8, Wichita 7

Right fielder Argelis Nunez had two hits, two runs and two RBI in four at-bats to lead St. Paul to an 8-7 win against Wichita at Midway Stadium. Wichita tied the score at 3-3 by scoring two runs in the second and one in the third. In the fourth frame, the Wingnuts took the lead when catcher Edwin Bellorin hit an RBI-triple, and second baseman Jose Duran followed to bat in Bellorin. The Saints scored the next five runs, and though Wichita added two more in the eighth, it wasn't enough to top St. Paul.
