Shreveport-Bossier 3, Wichita 2

Trailing 2-0, the Shreveport-Bossier Captains scored three unanswered runs to claim a 3-2 comeback win against the Wichita Wingnuts. Wichita CF Brent Clevlen's RBI double in the top of the third and RF Peter Barrows' home run in the fourth inning gave the Wingnuts a 2-0 advantage. The Captains struck back in the bottom of the sixth when RF Bryan Sabatella singled in a run and DH Palmer Karr Jr. also batted in a run. In the seventh frame, Shreveport-Bossier LF Alex Cowart hit an RBI single to give the Captains a 3-2 lead. Captains starting pitcher Osvaldo Rodriguez earned the win, allowing two runs on five hits in eight innings pitched. Captains reliever Mark Haynes pitched a scoreless ninth to earn the save.

Winnipeg 7, Sioux City 5

Winnipeg plated four runs in the bottom of the seventh to beat Sioux City 7-5. Goldeyes DH Jon Weber went 2-for-4 at the plate with a double and two RBIs, and RF Kody Kaiser had two hits, two runs scored and two RBIs. Center fielder Ridge Carpenter batted in a run for Winnipeg, scored a run and doubled. Goldeyes relief pitcher Aaron Cook was credited with the win for his one scoreless inning pitched, and Jamie Vermilyea earned the save. For Sioux City, SS Ryan Priddy tripled, collected two RBIs and scored a run in the loss.

Fargo-Moorhead 15, Lincoln 8

Fargo-Moorhead used a six-run fourth inning to take a commanding 10-5 lead en route to a 15-8 victory over the Lincoln Saltdogs. Lincoln scored four in the second inning to take a 4-2 lead, but the RedHawks tied the game in the bottom of the third. Then, after going behind 5-4, Fargo-Moorhead exploded offensively for six runs in the bottom of the fourth inning to reclaim the lead. In the inning, SS Zach Penprase his a three-run homer, and 3B C.J. Retherford hit an RBI double. Retherford went 2-for-4 at the plate with two doubles and two RBIs. RedHawks DH Jesse Hoorelbeke led Fargo-Moorhead with four RBIs. Hoorelbeke doubled twice and also scored a run. RedHawks starting pitcher Zach Ward earned the win, surviving six earned runs allowed in five innings pitched. For Lincoln, 3B Curt Smith went 3-for-5 with two doubles and two RBIs in the loss.

Kansas City 9, Amarillo 8

Kansas City erased an 8-4 deficit with three runs in the eighth and two runs in the ninth inning to edge the Amarillo Sox 9-8. Sox 2B Alex Chavez hit a solo homer in the top of the eighth to make it 8-4 Amarillo. In the bottom of the eighth, T-Bones 3B Kala Kaaihue hit a two-run home run, and 2B Gerardo Caceres hit an RBI sacrifice fly to cut Amarillo's lead to 8-7. In the bottom of the ninth, Kansas City loaded the bases. With Kaaihue at the plate, DH Rico Washington scored the tying run on a wild pitch. Kaaihue then singled in RF Ray Sadler for the game-winning run. Kaaihue finished a perfect 3-for-3 at the plate. T-Bones C Jeff Hulett also had three RBIs and homered in the game. For Amarillo, 3B Van Pope hit a grand slam in a losing effort.

Gary SouthShore - Fort Worth

The game between Gary SouthShore and Fort Worth is in progress with Gary SouthShore winning 3-1 in the top of the 13th.

El Paso - Grand Prairie is tied 7-7 in the bottom of the 8th.
