Gary SouthShore 2, Sioux City 1 (11 Innings)

Gary SouthShore RF Cristian Guerrero picked an opportune time to get his first and only hit of the game. With the RailCats and the Sioux City Explorers tied 1-1 in the bottom of the eleventh inning, Guerrero belted a walk-off solo homerun to give Gary SouthShore the 2-1 victory against Sioux City. The RailCats struck first in the contest when DH Lorenzo Scott knocked a solo homer in the bottom of the second inning to give the RailCats an early 1-0 lead. Sioux City equalized in the top of the third when 2B Mike Murphy homered, tying the score 1-1. Neither team could muster another run until Guerrero's game-winner. RailCats right-hander Travis Minix worked a scoreless tenth and eleventh inning, surrendering just one hit, and earning the win.

Sioux Falls 7, Wichita 3

Eight Sioux Falls batters had at least one hit as the Pheasants overpowered the Wichita Wingnuts for a 7-3 win. Sioux Falls RF Gus Milner went 2-for-4 from the plate with a double and a solo homerun. Pheasants 1B Brandon Sing hit his twelfth homerun of the season, finishing the game 1-for-3. Sioux Falls 3B Trevor Lawhorn put his team on the board first with a solo homerun in the bottom of the second. Pheasants starting pitcher Brandon Rapoza pitched a complete game, surrendering three earned runs and earning the win. For Wichita, CF Ryan Patterson went 3-for-4 from the plate with a double and a run scored in a losing effort.

Lincoln 9, Winnipeg 3

The Lincoln Saltdogs jumped out to a 3-0 lead after the first inning and didn't look back, as they went on to defeat the Winnipeg Goldeyes 9-3. Lincoln 1B Phil Hawke belted a three-run homerun in the bottom of the first and finished the night 2-for-4 from the plate with two runs scored and three RBIs. Saltdogs SS Kevin Rios hit a three-run homer in the bottom of the fourth inning, and in the same inning, DH Pat Trettel drove in two runs with a single. Lincoln starting pitcher Alessandro Maestri pitched six innings, struck out six batters, and earned the win. For Winnipeg, 3B Louis Ott had two hits in three at-bats and collected two RBIs.

Fargo-Moorhead 11, Kansas City 4

RedHawks 2B Carlo Cota's five RBIs helped Fargo-Moorhead secure an 11-4 victory against the Kansas City T-Bones. Cota drove in two runs in the top of the third inning with a single to left and also tallied an RBI double and a two-run homer later on the night. RedHawks CF Nic Jackson went 3-for-5 on the night with three RBIs, three runs scored, and a homerun. Pitcher Alex Caldera came on in relief to earn the win, working a scoreless three and two-thirds innings. For Kansas City, CF Keanon Simon went 2-for-5 from the plate with two RBIs and two runs scored.

Shreveport-Bossier 9, St. Paul 5

Shreveport-Bossier 2B Bryan Frichter had three RBIs and five other Captains chipped in with RBIs on the night, as the Captains beat St. Paul 9-5. Captains LF Joe Urtuzuastegui went 3-for-3 from the plate with an RBI and a run scored. RF Bryan Sabatella and DH Palmer Karr Jr. each had a solo homerun on the night. In all, five Shreveport-Bossier hitters had a multi-hit game. Left-hander Joel Kirsten earned the win, striking out four batters and surrendering four earned runs in his eight innings pitched. For St. Paul, LF Kevin Thompson went 3-for-4 with an RBI and two runs scored, and 3B Ronnie Bourquin homered in a losing effort.

El Paso 11, Fort Worth 9 (Game in progress - Top 8)

The El Paso - Fort Worth game is still in progress. El Paso leads Fort Worth 11-9 in the top of the eighth inning.
