Grand Prairie 6, Amarillo 2
Amarillo and Grand Prairie were tied up at 2-2 after five innings. After that it was all AirHogs, as Grand Prairie scored four runs over the sixth, seventh and eighth innings and would prevail 6-2 over the Sox. Grand Prairie DH Cesar Nicolas led the offense as he went 2-for-4 with a first inning home run and three RBIs. AirHogs starter Greg Smith won his third game of the season after going seven innings allowing two earned runs on 11 hits. 1B Chris Nash was 2-for-4 with a run scored for Amarillo in defeat.
