The Shreveport-Bossier Captains held a 9-1 lead after three innings and would go on to beat the Fort Worth Cats 16-12. Captains RF Bryan Sabatella had a perfect 4-for-4 night at the plate with three runs scored and three RBIs. Five other Shreveport-Bossier players collected three hits including C Brian Peterson who went 3-for-4 with two runs scored and four RBIs. Captains starter Osvaldo Rodriguez evened his record up at 6-6 with the win after allowing five runs on four hits in five innings pitched.
