STORYLINE: Forward Michael Amadio scored twice and forwards Justin Auger and Michael Mersch each recorded two assist as the Ontario Reign defeated the Stockton Heat 3-1 at Citizens Business Bank Arena Wednesday night.
GAME TIMELINE: - Stockton forward Morgan Klimchuck opens the scoring off a set faceoff play at 6:35 of the first period, beating Reign goaltender Jack Campbell for his eighth goal of the season. - Reign forward Mike Amadio responds 1:22 after Klimchuck's marker chipping the puck over the glove Heat goalie Jon Gillies. Forwards Michael Mersch and Justin Auger add assists. - In the second period, the Reign grab a fast start as forward Keegan Iverson buries his first professional goal 37 seconds into the frame from Jamie Devane. - With six seconds left in the middle stanza, Amadio picks up his second goal of the game to give the Reign a 3-1 advantage. Mersch and Auger again claim assists.
