(Windsor, ON) - The Windsor Spitfires are proud to announce a charitable commitment from AlphaKOR Group as part of the club's MVP Program, through which House of Sophrosyne has received a donation of $1,000.

AlphaKOR Group's Director of Marketing, Brandy Vaillancourt, says the company is proud to support and shine a light on an organization doing so much here in Windsor-Essex.

"We think it's important for people to know they do a lot of good work in our community, helping women and children and families who are struggling," Vaillancourt said. "We're committed to help local companies grow and be better and they're committed to helping people grow and be better." House of Sophrosyne Business Administrator Rendia Bechard says the support provided by AlphaKOR Group goes well beyond dollars and cents.

"We were blown away that they would choose our organization for such an amazing night," Bechard said. "And such an amazing way for us to generate awareness for our main cause, which is hope for women who suffer from addiction." Prior to the third period of last Thursday's game versus Sarnia, Spitfires Director of Corporate Partnerships and Premium Seating, Andrew Rowberry, presented a cheque to House of Sophrosyne on behalf of AlphaKOR Group and the Windsor Spitfires Foundation.

House of Sophrosyne and AlphaKOR Group were also recognized in a feature video presented on the WFCU Centre's Jumbotron during an intermission break.
