Niagara IceDogs News Release
On Thursday we celebrate St. Patrick's Day by putting on a show in front of our home town crowd, as the first place Kingston Frontenacs pay a visit to the Meridian Centre. Kingston is ranked sixth on the CHL's top 10 leaderboard, but the pesky IceDogs have demonstrated before that we are always up for a challenge. Adding to the festivities of St Patrick's Day, we will be sporting our unique jerseys!
In the final home game of the regular season, we will face-off with the Peterborough Petes in what may prove to be a pivotal game in determining the final results of the Eastern Conference standing. As a much deserved 'thank you' to our fans for being so supportive throughout the season, the IceDogs organization will celebrate Fan Appreciation Day. There will be giveaways from Tim Horton's and Munch Masters, as well as a guaranteed 50/50 jackpot of $5,000! At the conclusion of the game we will also be holding a live auction for the game-worn St. Patrick Day jerseys. We would also like to encourage fans to send pictures of themselves decked out in all their IceDogs gear to Cori Jackson (c.jackson@niagaraicedogs.net) so that we can display them on the jumbotron throughout the game. Photo's must be submitted no later than Thursday at 5:00pm.
Finally, playoff tickets are now on sale! Your Niagara IceDogs are extremely proud to have made the playoffs for the ninth straight year, a feat only three other teams in the OHL can brag about. Tickets start as low as $17 and can be purchased at all Niagara IceDogs ticketing locations.
We look forward to seeing all of you at the Meridian Centre for this action-packed week. You won't want to miss all the excitement we have planned for these final regular season home games. Come support the IceDogs and join us on this journey as we close out the regular season and look towards the playoffs!
