
Alouettes Trade Harvey Stables

Montreal, February 25, 2003 - Montreal Alouettes General Manager Jim Popp announced today that the organization has traded Harvey Stables, a special team player who participated in 23 games with the Alouettes since 2000, to the B.C. Lions. The Alouettes got draft picks to be determined from the Lions.
In 23 games, Stables (6'4'', 215 lbs.) made 12 total tackles in three seasons with the Alouettes. He is a versatile player who can play at many positions including free safety, linebacker and slotback. He even played a series on the defensive line in 2001. He is 28.
