
Alouettes Preparing For Future: Team Acquires Two Draft Picks

Montreal, Feb. 26, 2009 - Montreal Alouettes' Vice President and General Manager Jim Popp announced today the team has acquired a pair of second-round draft picks from the Saskatchewan Roughriders (2009 and 2010) in exchange for defensive back Donovan Alexander.
The Alouettes will now have eight picks in the upcoming CFL Canadian draft to be held on May 2 - its six original picks, plus Saskatchewan's second-round selection and the Hamilton Tiger-Cats' fourth-round pick.
