Almeida Named USHL Offensive Player of the Week

Omaha Lancer forward Barry Almeida received the first USHL Offensive Player of the Week honor for the 2007-2008 season.
Almeida is currently tied for the league scoring lead after picking up four points in two wins last weekend. He scored a goal Friday vs. Tri-City, then added two power play goals including the game winner as well as an assist in the victory Saturday over Sioux Falls.
