INDIANAPOLIS, IN- The Indiana Ice is back in action for another season when they host the Ohio Junior Blue Jackets in their home opener this Saturday (10/13) at 7:05 p.m. from the Pepsi Coliseum.
The Ice will celebrate the start of the season with the annual "Citizens Gas Block Party" from 5-7 p.m. in front of the Pepsi Coliseum. The tailgate party will include face painting, balloon animals, a rock climbing wall, bounce house, cornhole sponsored by Indy Custom Cornhole and the Play Hockey outdoor rink. Fans will also be able to meet Big-E-Foot and some of his mascot friends while they enjoy the music from the band Five After Five.
The excitement will continue into the Coliseum during the game as one lucky fan will have the chance to win ten thousand dollars during one of the intermissions. Big-E-Foot and the Hardee's Chill Girls will also be on hand to lead the crowd in cheers while the Ice battle division foe Ohio.
Tickets range from $11-$15 for the game ($2 off for children 12 and under and seniors 62 and over) and can be purchased at all Ticketmaster locations including Karma Records, and the Indiana State Fairgrounds and Conseco Fieldhouse box offices, or by calling 239-5151 or online at ticketmaster.com. Groups of ten or more can order tickets through the Ice office by calling 925-4423.
