Allen, Texas - The Allen Americans, ECHL affiliate of the Minnesota Wild, host the Idaho Steelheads for three games this week beginning on Wednesday night. The Americans picked up three out of a possible six points this past weekend in Tulsa, going 1-1-1 in the three games.

Friday, January 25th @ Tulsa - 5-0 WIN

Tulsa, OK - Jacob Doty had his first professional hat trick, while CJ Motte made 33 saves as the Allen Americans shutout the Tulsa Oilers by a score of 5-0 on Friday night. The win extended the Americans point streak to seven games

Saturday January 26th @ Tulsa - 4-3 Loss

Tulsa, OK - The Americans rallied from a 4-1 deficit to close the gap to one goal late in the third period, but Allen was unable to get the equalizer as Tulsa evened the series at 1-1 with a 4-3 victory. The Oilers win ended the Americans seven-game point streak.

Sunday January 27th @ Tulsa - 5-4 OT Loss

Tulsa, OK - The Americans blew two 2-goal leads on Sunday afternoon as the Tulsa Oilers won a 5-4 overtime decision at the BOK Center. With the loss, Allen picks up a point and three out of a possible six points in the three-game series. Zach Pochiro scored his ECHL-leading 25th goal of the year in the loss.
