TL1 Springfield Cardinals

All-Star Game Availability

June 21, 2005 - Texas League (TL1)
Springfield Cardinals News Release

The Texas League All-Star Game will be taking place at 7pm, tonight in Frisco, TX. Four members of the Springfield Cardinals will participate in the game, as Travis Hanson and Tyler Minges will start for the East Division, while Robinson Cancel and Randy Leek will be coming off the bench.

Minor League Baseball claims that there will be some sort of web cast, which means EITHER video or audio. As of this morning, MILB was not sure which would be available, but was confident that one or the other would be available through their website at www.milb.com.

TELEVISION

The game will be televised by FOX Sports around the country....however, in Springfield it will not be shown live due to the Cardinals/Reds game tonight from Cinci. Therefore, if you have Direct TV or DISH, the game will be shown on FOX Sports Southwest as well as a number of other FOX affiliates. If you do not currently have access to these other fox affiliates, calling your satellite provider is necessary. You must subscribe to the FOX sports package, which costs $12 per month with Direct TV....the service can be cancelled at any time (tomorrow) and I was told the package would then be pro-rated. Please call Direct TV or DISH network for more information....The Springfield Cardinals assume no responsibilities regarding your purchase of the All-Star Game. For people in Springfield that do not have the sports package, the game will be tape delayed and will be shown Wed night on FOX Sports Midwest. (check local listings for times)

RADIO

The game will not be heard live on JOCK 98.7 FM, but according to Minor League Baseball, can be heard online at www.milb.com. The Springfield Cardinals will attempt to post a link directly to the feed from Minor League Baseball as soon as it becomes available. The link will be available at www.springfieldcardinals.com.

Good luck and congratulations goes out to all four All-Stars. Thanks for your support of Springfield Cardinals Baseball!
