
Aliotti Named Player of the Week

Anthony Aliotti was named Texas League Player of the Week on Monday for games during May 6th - 12th. Aliotti's selection is the first of the year for the RockHounds. In six games, the RockHounds first baseman hit .524, with a pair of homeruns and seven RBI. Aliotti is in his second season with the RockHounds and his fifth in the A's organization after being drafted in the 15th round of the 2009 draft out of St. Mary's College.
The RockHounds start a four game series in Frisco on Monday before returning to Citibank Ballpark on Friday night for a series against the division leading Corpus Christi Hooks.
