Algorand and NJ/NY Gotham FC Sign Historic Tech Partnership

HARRISON, NJ - NJ/NY Gotham FC and Algorand, an industry-leading blockchain company designed to be the most efficient and greenest blockchain available, announced a multi-year partnership deal today. As part of the deal, Algorand will become the front-of-jersey partner and first-ever "Official Blockchain and NFT Partner" of the National Women's Soccer League club. Gotham FC and Algorand will be unveiling blockchain enabled payments and NFT integrations in-stadium and in the community.

All of these experiences will be powered by Algorand's native digital wallet.

In a joint partnership with Soccer Post, Gotham FC and Algorand will host recycled soccer equipment drives at Soccer Post locations throughout New Jersey and New York to benefit the MORE Foundation and its One Million Tree project in Ghana, where trees are planted on protected school campuses to educate students and the community on farming and sustainability.
