Alex Stalock Returns to Worcester

WORCESTER, MA - Worcester Sharks General Manger Wayne Thomas has announced that the Worcester Sharks have recalled goaltender Alex Stalock from the Stockton Thunder (ECHL).

The 24-year-old native of South St. Paul, MN had a 5-1-0 record in six starts for the Stockton Thunder along with a 2.83GAA and a .914 save percentage.

The Worcester Sharks Team MVP during the 2009-10 season, Stalock has a 58-36-6 all-time record with the Worcester Sharks and a 1-0-0 career record with the San Jose Sharks.

Stalock has not played a game with Worcester since a season ending injury on Feb 4, 2011 vs. the Manchester Monarchs. Alex Stalock was named to the 2009-10 AHL-All Rookie Team and an AHL All-Star in 2010 with Worcester. Alex is expected to practice with the Worcester Sharks on Tuesday.
