
Albuquerque acquires Brandon Robinson

GREENVILLE, S.C., January 20 - The Albuquerque Thunderbirds have acquired forward Brandon Robinson from the NBA Development League available player pool to fill the roster spot vacated when Chuck Hayes earned the league's fourth GATORADE Call-Up of the season by signing with the Houston Rockets earlier this week.
Robinson, 6-8 and 215-pounds, played in 18 games (seven starts) for Fort Worth before being waived on January 15. He averaged 20.6 minutes, 7.3 points and 4.6 rebounds for the Flyers. The Auburn University product was the Flyers fifth-round (35th overall) selection in the 2005 NBA D-League Draft.
