Bulls Assign Basden to Tulsa

CHICAGO, January 20 - The Chicago Bulls today announced that 6-5 guard Eddie Basden has been assigned to the Tulsa 66ers of the NBA Development League (D-League). Tulsa has been assigned as the Bulls' D-League affiliate for the 2005-06 season.
Basden, an undrafted rookie out of Charlotte who signed with the Bulls on August 9, 2005, has appeared in 15 games this year and has averaged 2.2 ppg and 1.5 rpg in 7.6 mpg and shot .462 from the field. In 118 college games at Charlotte he averaged 9.0 points, 6.5 points and 2.7 assists.
He is the 17th NBA player to be assigned to a D-League affiliate this season, the third to the 66ers. He will join Milwaukee's Ersan Ilyasova as NBA players currently designated to the Tulsa roster.
