Alaska's Goldie Fined, Suspended

PRINCETON, N.J. - The ECHL on Saturday announced that Alaska's Wes Goldie has been suspended for two games and fined an undisclosed amount under Rule #28 - Supplementary Discipline, as a result of his actions in ECHL Game #68, Bakersfield at Alaska, on Nov. 4.

Goldie was assessed a major penalty and game misconduct for elbowing at 13:21 of the first period.

Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players' Association, player fines collected by the ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player's Hardship Fund.

Goldie will miss Alaska's games against Bakersfield tonight and against Ontario on Friday.
