
Alando Tucker Sets Season High Against Armor

Frisco, TX FEB. 11, 2012 - Alando Tucker poured in a season high 26 points against Springfield, but it wasn't enough as the Texas Legends fell short 109-103.
Tucker continues to find his offensive touch since returning to Texas, increasing his point total for the fourth straight game. Sean Williams grabbed seven rebounds, blocked two shots, while contributing 19 points on the night.
Texas was unable to stop the Armor's 6-2 guard, Jerry Smith, who led the game in scoring with an efficient 28 points on nine of 18 shooting. The Legends also struggled on the boards as the Armor out-rebounded Texas 43-35 for the game.
The Legends gave a valiant effort in the fourth quarter as they climbed back from a 19 point deficit to tie the game with 4:27 remaining. The Legends ran short as JamesOn Curry took over in the final minutes pushing the Armor back in front comfortably. Curry finished with 18 points and a team high five assists.
Texas (13-18) will now look avoid a three game losing streak with a win on Sunday against the Maine Red Claws (12-18) in Portland.
