
Williams Leads Legends to Vicory Over Red Claws

Frisco, TX FEB. 12, 2012 - The Texas Legends found themselves in the win column with a 114-107 win over the Maine Red Claws.
Alando Tucker and Sean Williams played pivotal roles in the win with 25 and 27 points respectively. Williams stuffed the stat sheet with a team high nine rebounds and quality five assists on the night, but it was his seven blocked shots that made the difference in the game.
Tucker poured in 25 points with six rebounds and two assists to round out the scoring punch for the Texas Legends. Six players scored in double-figures including Drew Neitzel who dished out a team high seven assists with his 12 points off the bench.
Maine had three players score 20 points or more, but it was Morris Almond who led the way with 26 points. Former Legend Lawrence Hill led the game in rebounds with 13 while contributing 20 points for the game.
Texas shot 50.0% or better for just the fourth time this season, improving to 3-1 when hitting the mark.
The Legends (14-18) return home to face the Idaho Stampede (11-17) after going 2-3 on a five game road trip.
