
Balanced Attack Propels Jam to Victory Over the 66ers

BAKERSFIEL - The Bakersfield Jam (15-14) outworked the Tulsa 66ers (15-17) and came out victorious with a final score of 107-96. Bakersfield led by as many as 19 points in the game.
Bakersfield built a twelve point lead in the first half due to their hot shooting in the second quarter. After putting up only 22 points in the first period, the Jam scored 36 points in the second quarter alone shooting 82.4% from the field (14-of-17). They went into halftime with a 58-48 lead and maintained that double-digit lead through most of the second half resulting in an eleven point win over the visiting 66ers.
The Jam had five players scoring in double figures led by Derrick Byars with 18 points and Juan Pattillo who recorded his seventh double-double of the season with 18 points and a team-high 13 rebounds. Jeremy Wise had 17 points and dished out a team-high 6 assists while Osiris Eldridge added 16 points off the bench. Renaldo Major scored 12 points.
Robert Vaden scored a game-high 29 points while Brady Morningstar scored 14 points. Jerome Dyson added 13 points and 8 assists and Delroy James contributed 13 points off the bench.
Up next, Bakersfield will take on the Austin Toros on Thursday, February 16, at 7 pm PT at the Jam Events Center.
