Akron Aeros to Host Columbus Clippers in Exhibition Game Monday, April 4

AKRON, OH - The Akron Aeros today announced that they will play an exhibition game against the Cleveland Indians Triple-A affiliate Columbus Clippers at Canal Park on Monday, April 4 at 6:05 p.m.

All tickets will be $5 and seating will be General Admission for this exhibition game against the Clippers.

"We are excited to welcome the Columbus Clippers to Akron! This will be a great opportunity for fans to get a sneak peek at the changes we have made to enhance the fan experience at Canal Park in 2011, from our new extreme foods to our expanded Fun Zone area for kids of all ages. Not to mention, it will be the first chance to see your Akron Aeros take the field," Aeros Executive Vice President and COO JIM PFANDER said.

The tune-up game is the first of two between the clubs, as the Aeros will travel to Columbus to play the Clippers at Huntington Park on Wednesday, April 6 at 2:05 p.m.

The Aeros will begin the 2011 regular season Thursday, April 7 as they welcome the Binghamton Mets to Canal Park for the first game of a four game series. First pitch is slated for 7:05 p.m.

$9.00 - Reserved Seats

$5.00 - Bleacher Seats (General Admission)
